Bathrooms guarantee terms and conditions

If there’s something you’re not happy with, we’d like the opportunity to put this right for you. In the unlikely event that your Wickes bathroom purchase does not meet your expectations or a quality issue arises, please contact a Wickes colleague at your point of purchase or contact Wickes Customer Services, with your order number, details of the product issue and your proof of purchase. We reserve the right to carry out a product inspection prior to validating a claim.

For guarantee periods offered on each bathroom product, please refer to the relevant product page in this brochure or product page on the Wickes website. Products are guaranteed for the stated period of time against any manufacturing or material defects.

The Wickes guarantee does not cover usage other than intended use in a standard application, deterioration through normal wear and tear, gradual deterioration or ageing, deterioration due to infestation, wilful damage, neglect, accidental damage, improper or negligent use, unauthorised modification or repair, incorrect installation, failure to follow maintenance and care instructions or incorrect storage.

Serviceable parts which are subject to wear and tear are covered at the discretion of Wickes for the length of the guarantee period. Serviceable parts include, but are not limited to: cartridges, aerators, sliders, handsets, handles, fixings & hoses.

The Wickes guarantee does not cover use in commercial premises or non standard applications such as house boats, caravans or camper vans.

Any attempt to modify or, in any way, change the product design and componentry beyond our original specification will render the guarantee void.

Claims for loss of use of the products or consequential loss of any nature are not covered by the product guarantee.

During the guarantee period for the product, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the product or the defective part, or in the case of serviceable parts, provide a replacement if the part is deemed to have worn under reasonable use. This is subject to the guarantee exclusions set out above and the claim being validated.

In order for us to evaluate your claim we may then send you a claim form to record all of the relevant details. In addition we reserve the right to carry out an inspection of the alleged product damage or fault, before responding to your claim.

We recognise that as a consumer you may have additional rights under consumer law and we confirm that the product guarantees do not affect your statutory rights.
