Solar Finance Eligibility

To understand if you’re suitable for our solar finance, you’ll need to meet the following criteria.

  • Minimum age of 18 on the application date
  • Maximum age of 85 (at the end of the agreement), unless the term is no more than 12 months (in which case there is no maximum age limit)
  • Be a permanent UK resident and have been so for a minimum of 3 years
  • Be a UK homeowner - registered at address on agreement
  • Have a bank which supports a Direct Debit facility
  • The bank account should be in the name of the applicant, and they must be the only signatory required to authorise a direct debit
  • Have a valid email address
  • Have a mobile phone number
  • Employment status:
  • Full time employment (16+ hrs p/w), part time employment (up to 16 hours p/w), self employed, retired, in receipt of disability allowance, Homemaker
  • Have an individual gross income of £10,000 or more (or joint income if married/living with partner/in civil partnership)

Our pay monthly solar panel financing options allow you to spread the cost over 60, 120 or 180 months at 6.9% APR representative to suit your budget and lifestyle. Here’s everything you need to know about our agreements:

  • Start making repayments once your Solar system is installed.
  • Choose a fixed period to repay the credit.
  • Option of 0-25% deposit up front
  • Loan amounts available £1,000 - £25,000
  • You can make overpayments at any time
  • Missed payments may incur late fees/charges and impact your credit file

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the loan secured against my home?

No - our finance is completely unsecured. That means your home or other assets are not used as collateral.

Can I pay off the loan early?

Yes. You can make extra payments at any time or settle the full amount early. There are no early repayment penalties, and doing so can reduce the interest you pay overall.

When do my payments start?

If you choose the Buy Now, Pay Later option, your repayments start 6 months after installation. For standard finance, payments begin roughly one month after the loan is activated.

Can I choose how long I want to spread the cost?

Absolutely. You can choose from 5, 10, or 15-year terms (60, 120, or 180 months) - whichever fits your budget best.

Who provides the finance?

Will applying affect my credit score?
