Vanity units are the perfect addition to any bathroom, providing extra storage and enhancing your décor. We know that bathrooms come in all different sizes and designs, which is why our comprehensive selection includes options for every home and layout to help you find the right vanity unit to sit beneath your bathroom sink.
If you need a vanity unit for a compact space, like a small bathroom or cloakroom, choose a small vanity unit with a single cupboard or drawers to slot neatly beneath your cloakroom sink. A wall-mounted vanity unit also takes up less floor space, making the room feel bigger. We have double-sized vanity cabinets for larger bathrooms, available in different colours, styles and designs, including wall-mounted and free-standing options. We even have bathroom cabinet vanity units to fit corner basins, so you can browse here no matter your bathroom layout.

FAQs
What is a vanity unit?
A vanity unit acts as an under-sink bathroom cabinet that sits under and around the base of the sink, hiding pipes and giving you extra storage space.
Does a vanity have to touch the wall?
That depends on your bathroom and design preferences. Wall-mounted vanities require wall attachment but are a great space-saving option. Free-standing vanities should be installed properly, but don’t need to be attached to the wall. However, they take up more space.
How to choose a vanity unit
You’ll need to consider your basin style, bathroom size and your home interior when choosing a vanity unit. In terms of specifications, carefully measure your space and then choose a unit to fit and offers ample storage without overwhelming the room. You should also make sure it suits your plumbing layout, and the finish compliments the rest of your bathroom.
How easy is vanity unit installation?
It depends if it’s a standalone vanity unit or a vanity unit with a sink. If standalone, simply follow the flat pack instructions provided and then you should be able to slot the vanity around your sink neatly, providing it’s of the right dimensions for the space. If with an integrated sink, you’ll need to undergo plumbing work which can be trickier.
What are the different types of vanity units?
The most common types of vanity units include freestanding, corner, wall-hung, cloakroom, double and floor standing.
Can you fit a vanity unit to an existing sink?
A vanity unit can sometimes be fitted to an existing sink, depending on whether the basin's size, shape and plumbing are compatible with the unit. However, many vanity units are designed for a specific basin, so replacing the existing sink with a compatible vanity unit with basin is often the simplest option.
Do you tile behind a vanity unit?
You can, but it isn’t always essential. However, we’d recommend doing so for the best finish.
