Timber is wood which has been specifically prepared and cut for a range of joinery and construction purposes. Preparing timber often involves treating the wood for durability as well as cutting the planks to a uniform size.
What size timber is available?
Timber is often available in a wide variety of sizes to suit your needs. At Wickes, we stock a range of timber sizes, but these can be cut to match your project using a power saw or a handsaw.
