All you need to do is soften the adhesive with heat or a solvent and then gently scrape it off with a floor scraper or putty knife. If you come across a stubborn section, try a specialist adhesive remover or an oscillating multi-tool.
Which is better: adhesive glue or tape for carpet?
We recommend adhesive glue for a more permanent carpet installation, especially if applying it to high-traffic areas of the home. While carpet tape can be quicker and easier to apply, it’s more suitable for temporary fixes.
Can you put a sealant on laminate flooring?
