Coffee table toppers

Measure your coffee table, cut your flooring to size so that it fits the table-top perfectly.

Once all the boards sit flush to the edges, stick them down using contact adhesive.

Feature wall cladding

Leftover flooring can make for a refreshing take on the feature wall.

Stick your boards to the wall using adhesive, before securing them in place by driving nails through the extended groove at the top at each wall stud.

You’ll also want to drive a screw into each stud along the bottom edge of your first row; these can be easily covered up later.

Then move up to the next row and repeat the process until you get to the last one.

Mark your stud locations and drive nails into them through your final row of flooring.

Picture mount

A single floorboard can provide a nice neutral background for a gallery of your favourite photos.

There are plenty of ways you can mount your pictures; we chose to attach string and run it down the centre of the board.

We did this by feeding through a series of clips that held the photos in place.

Frames

Frames

A few boards cut to size can be turned into custom frames for pictures and mirrors.

This can be done with little more than some double-sided tape.

Attach the boards to the existing frame for some added character.
