Is expanding foam waterproof?

Yes - expandable foam can be waterproof or at least water resistant, depending on the type of foam used. Open-cell foam is more water resistant, whereas closed-cell foam is superior in water resistance, making it a popular choice in damp areas.

How long does expanding foam take to dry?

While all expanding foam is relatively quick to dry, the time it takes does depend on the type of foam and the thickness of your application, as well as the temperature and humidity of your environment.

How do you get expanding foam off your hands?

To get expanding foam off your hands, firstly try a simple solution of soap and warm water and gently scrub. If this fails, try acetone or nail polish remover on a cotton wool ball, or using the same process, petroleum jelly might be more effective.
