The best way to clean silicone sealant is by using warm water and a mild detergent which is applied with a soft cloth or sponge. If you come across any tougher stains or mould, try a diluted vinegar solution or a specialist mould remover. Rinse and dry thoroughly after cleaning.
To rid of any black mould, firstly try a mould remover or mix 1 part bleach with 10 parts water. Once applied, let it sit for 10-15 minutes before scrubbing it with a soft brush or toothbrush. Rinse it thoroughly and let it dry completely. When doing this, we recommend wearing gloves and ventilate the room if possible.
This will depend on the brand and environment is drying in, but generally, it takes 24 hours for silicone sealant to fully cure.
