Are kitchen sink strainers a standard size?
While sink strainers aren’t a standard size, they’re all designed to fit a regular kitchen sink drain opening, typically 44mm in diameter.
How do you clean a kitchen sink waste pipe?
To clean your kitchen sink waste pipe, start by boiling your kettle and pouring the boiling water down the drain. Next, pour roughly 150 to 200g of bicarbonate of soda down the drain, followed by 200ml of white vinegar. Leave the drain to fizz for around 15 minutes before pouring more boiling water down the drain to rinse away the solution.
