Choosing a Radiator Cover
Sizes
We have mini, small, medium, large and adjustable radiator covers in our collection, all designed to suit different room and radiator sizes. Make sure you take measurements before choosing your cover.
- Mini are sized at 780mm, ideal for toilets and small rooms
- Small are sized at 1110mm, ideal for hallways and bathrooms
- Medium are sized at 1115mm, ideal for standard living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms
- Large are sized at 1720mm, ideal for bigger radiators
- Adjustable are sized at 2000mm
When it comes to height, taller covers can become a focal point of a room when the ceilings are high, and shorter covers create a cohesive look against low windowsills.
Colour & Style
A radiator cover should complement your room, which is why we have several colourways and styles to choose from. White can help a room stay bright, while oak, Halsted and unfinished covers can warm up the space. All of our covers are either panelled or have a lattice style front; both modern and elegant.
FAQs
Do radiator covers block heat?
It’s possible for a radiator cover to interrupt the heat flow of a radiator, depending on its material and design. However, all of our covers have been created in an innovative design to allow for optimum heat flow.
How to remove radiator covers
Removing a radiator cover is quick and easy. Simply follow the steps below:
- Turn off the heat
- Remove any fasteners using a screwdriver
- Lift off the cover carefully, avoiding damage to the walls or radiator
Are radiator covers a good idea?
Yes, radiator covers have several benefits, including smartening the look of a room by concealing a radiator, creating a safe setting for pets and children, and provide a shelf-like area you can dress with decorations.
Are radiator covers safe?
Yes, radiator covers are safe as they conceal a radiator’s hot surface and are often attached to the wall with fixings, making them extra stable.
How do you measure for a radiator cover?
To measure for your radiator cover, you’ll need to find out the width, height and depth of your radiator to find a cover suitable for its size. Make sure to check for any protrusions such as pipes or valves in case they’ll interfere with the cover’s placement. We also recommend adding a few extra centimetres to each measurement to maximise airflow.
