What is timber board?
Timber boards are flat, robust pieces of wood, most commonly used in construction, DIY projects and furniture making.
What timber are scaffold boards?
Scaffolding boards are usually made from spruce or pine as these wood types are strong, durable and treated to withstand all external conditions.
How is manufactured board different from natural timber?
Manufactured boards like plywood, MDF and chipboard are produced by bonding wood fibres, particles or veneers with adhesives to create a more perfected, stable material. Natural timber, however, comes directly from trees so it isn’t mixed or processed in the same way. This makes it much more robust, durable and valuable for its appearance.
