How do you hold insulation between joists?

To hold insulation between joists, cut the material slightly wider than the joist spacing to create a friction fit. Alternatively, use support wires, metal rods or wooden battens to hold it in place. Certain types of insulation can be stapled to the joists directly too. When fixing, make sure you leave no gaps.

How do you fix insulation that keeps falling down?
