The Mapei Mapeband PE120 is a PVC tape designed to assist waterproofing interior wet areas, such as bathrooms and showers, when used with the waterproofing membrane Mapelastic Aquadefense (Product code: 114253). The Mapeband PE120 is used to waterproof the joints where the walls meet bath edges, shower tray, basins, and floors, making them impermeable to water and vapour. The band is also required to waterproof corners between adjacent walls and the joins between tile backer boards.
