The Scheppach Corded Band Saw is an entry-level model for DIY enthusiasts, model builders, and craftsmen looking to precisely shape their workpieces made of hardwood, softwood, plastic, or aluminium up to 80mm in height. A bandsaw allows for both straight cuts and beautiful curves by moving the workpiece on the worktable during cutting. As a result, the bandsaw offers greater precision than a circular saw but is not as intricate as a scroll saw for delicate work and internal cuts. The workpiece is fed to the saw blade via the sturdy work table, with two workpiece stops ensuring optimal positioning and protecting your fingers. The parallel stop with quick-locking mechanism is used for creating precise longitudinal cuts. The cross stop or crosscut guide can be employed to advance a narrow piece of wood forward or to create a specific angle for bevel cuts.
