How long does concrete take to dry?

Depending on the type of concrete you choose, it can take between 24 to 48 hours to become sturdy enough to walk on. Higher density concrete designed for heavy-duty tasks may take longer to dry than quick-setting alternatives.

How much concrete do I need?

The amount of concrete you need will depend on the size and the depth of the hole you’re filling. On average, one 20kg bag of pre-mixed concrete will produce 0.01 cubic metres of fresh concrete, which is around 10L. 

How do you mix concrete?

Concrete is made by mixing cement, sand and aggregates to create a fresh concrete mixture. If you’re not using a ready-mixed concrete bag, measure out the correct ratio of the materials, typically 1 part cement, 2 parts sand and 3 parts aggregate, and mix with water to create concrete.
